NEWENT COMMUNITY SCHOOL

Newent Community School hosted an Kenyan Fayre. There were stalls selling fair trade produce. Pupils sold Cakes, Ice Creams, drinks and crafts from Kenya. Pupils had recycled old beams from the school gym making tea light holders and clocks, buyers were encouraged to barter the prices. There was a display by the International Birds of Prey Centre and a tree planting ceremony.
